3. Create a TikTok Shop

To become a TikTok seller, you can sign up seller account using a TikTok account or with a phone number and email.

After successfully signing up, you first log in to the TikTok Seller Central, you’ll be asked to provide your shop’s warehouse or pickup location. This involves selecting a country/region, giving a street address, supplying the name of a contact person, entering a postcode, and along with entering your phone number.

You will also need to include a return address, which can be the same as the warehouse/pickup location or a distinct return warehouse address, contact person, postcode, and phone number. Finally, accept the terms and conditions and click “Start Your Business” to continue.

4. Document Verification

Before the final approval to sell products on TikTok, you must go through the document verification process. You need to access the “Verify Documents” area of the TikTok Seller Central home page and click on “Upload Documents”. There you enter your company type (business or Individually-owned Company) and a Shop Name.

You can upload photos of your passport, national ID, or driver’s license for your individual account. While on the other side Upload photos of the legal representative’s government-issued identification document (National ID, Driving license, or passport) and formal business license or registration for business. After you have uploaded all of the required documents, click “Submit.” Your account application will be examined, and if accepted, you will be able to sell on TikTok. If your account fails the evaluation, you will be notified via email with advice on how to resubmit the relevant documents.

5. Attach Bank Account

After the successful verification of your company documents by TikTok, the next step is to link a bank account to your shop for payments and refund processing.

Now you need to navigate the TikTok Seller Central main page and choose “Link Bank Account,” then “Link Account.” Fill in the blanks with the Account Name, Bank Name, Bank Account Number, Email, Address, and Building Number.

Double Check that the Account Name matches the registered name for individuals and the business name for businesses. Once you’ve entered all of the required information, click “Submit” to finish the process.

6. List a product

After successfully completing all the above steps you need to list a product that you want to sell on TikTok. You must list the product by Adding the Product Title, Description, Selecting the product category, including brand name, product images, and video, package weight and dimensions, what’s inside the box, SKU information, adding variations if needed,  Pricing, and Available Quantity. Provide all the details accurately otherwise, TikTok take many enforcement actions.
